Europe: France to Greece

“The club members were gathered around, setting out trestle tables and busily preparing for – wait for it – a Sunday lunchtime paella party! And even better, I was invited!! What luck to have diverted to Carcassonne, only to then find this club event in full swing. It was a great way to meet and chat with all the flyers, and a pleasant couple of hours were spent by all.”

 

“ I took a stroll around the bay, which was virtually empty of life, apart from a solitary angler sat on the end of the pier. He was hunched intently over his small fishing rod, and when viewed from behind, rather bizarrely, his upper body appeared to be as wide as it was tall.”
